I like Smooth Criminal and Man in the Mirror, the most.
I am devastated by his passing. He changed my life forever, now if you will excuse me, I gotta go to a vigil and sell MJ t-shirts.
this is a great song... the heaviest song he did...

i dont know how i feel about his music. i mean i listened to it in the 80's. but then again, i listened to men at work also along with the other towels in that era. you are not alone to me would be his best song imo. the rest was just 80's crap.
This is also my favorite. Such quality videos, modern ones really don't compareKmarion wrote:

Good video as well. This was back when artist used to spend a long time making videos, they put a lot of effort and work into them (and MTV played them). Most nowadays are shot in one day, or are recycled concert footage.

It wasn't '80s crap though. Musicians now emulate MJ - his look, his sound, his dancing. His basslines were funky, hard, groovy. His voice is iconic, and copied today by many artists (Justin Timberlake, Neyo, most R&B singers). His dancing style was amazing - inspired by early B-Boys and choreographed dance, and smooth but rugged at the same time. He could pop and slide better than many B-Boys who strictly focused on that type of dance.usmarine wrote:

well Ken, i think all that stuff JT and the other R&B people do is crap also. (I have no idea what Neyo is, and dont post it cuz i most likely do not want to hear it)KEN-JENNINGS wrote:
