hate that shit. There was a round on Karkand where the enemy US team had gotten it stuck on the edge of a wall on the side of the Hotel towards the river. I hopped in it but couldn't hit anything, but didn't want to leave it or else it'd blow up and respawn and they'd get it backwest-phoenix-az wrote:

couldnt get off the car, didnt want them to steal it so i stayed there killing as many as possible
couple guys got under the stairs and started wrenching, i killed them with splash damage but it destroyed my lav too
killed like 8 guys and one tank while i was stuck though

I got the IFVs stuck on the cliffs near the constuction site on Oman three times in one day. Haven't managed such a feat since, but still, those things are a death trap.
Also once I got the BMP stuck on Noshahr, on the pipes near the canal flag, but someone on my team was nice enough to ram me with the VDV and I went on to murder many fools.

Managed to get the bmp stuck on Terran highway and the lav stuck in the stairs on the opposite side of the map in the same round

Finally got this game going on my new system, and I have to say the game itself looks pretty good and it's fun to play, but only for an hour or two at most, otherwise it's just annoying and rage-inducing. B2K maps are enjoyable, but they're a bit different from the BF2 originals due to all the buildings that can be entered and destruction.
One thing that bugs me is that I don't even understand the point of tactical flashlights - what were the developers even thinking? They serve no purpose but to blind you to death, and then give you a seizure during the killcam as your killer sprints away.
Also, the killcam should be skippable - I'm tired of staring at the guy who just killed me when I could changing my kit or picking my next spawn.

What I find worse than this. Is when you are trying to run away from a person or tank shooting at you and a sidewalk curb stops you like a brick wall. Or try walking up those broken concrete steps to the construction site on oman... oh shi- cannot walk up steps!west-phoenix-az wrote:

Acknowledge their existence and shoot them first.
unlock air radar and equip it, you'll soon see a red enemy jet making an apperance on it, they're usually on you're ass. Switch to rear view (default 'C') constantly for more situational awareness. Some people find it air radar buggy but it's always worked for me.Mutantbear wrote:

Keep circling the outskirts of the map on high altitude and keep looking around while holding right mousebutton. When you see one, try getting behind him on an intercept course () so they don´t see you. One salvo should be enough then.Mutantbear wrote:

just gotta kill people on the ground, rocket pods are unlocked fairly early, spam away. Also target helos with the guns which eat them up pretty fast. The first couple of unlocks are arduous, you gotta just grind away and keep away from other pilots.Mutantbear wrote:

I go up high, target a flag and them spam Q to highlight everything there, as useless team mates rarely spot tanks/noobs for you and then blast away.

Found a neat MAV trick on Metro:
When you're RU, fly the MAV down the right hand side of the metro station and over the roadblock. You can then get past the buildings and on top of the station itself. There's nothing there - you're off the map - but you can still land on it and scan the enemies inside. They can't shoot it, and you can reposition it at will as the frontline shifts. Also, it's possible to land it on the burning top floors of the cafe flag buildings. The flames don't damage it, and it's protected from enemy gunfire while it scans the building.
I get about 20-30 surveillance efficiency ribbons in a single game, and every 50 of those you get a medal worth 10k points. Too easy.

I usually just park it in the tunnels under the ticket booths, where no one can go.
