Thats what I thought, either that or they have earned a "star" in that vehicle. But I dismissed it as a) it was the first day live, and b) I dont think you get stars for vehicles.AussieReaper wrote:

It's a squad leader. Happens on-foot, too.
Is there anyway to reduce glare and the brightness in this game? It's so hard to see sometimes.
The ACOG scope actually reduces glare as it is polarised.Roc18 wrote:

This pro-tip brought to you by the letter G.

Blackbelts are just whitebelts who have never quit.
Yeah it's often too bright to see, or way too freaking dark. Especially going up those staircases in Operation Metro, Seine Crossing, any other indoor staircase, etc.
And above your tomb, the stars will belong to us.
i'll try that.m3thod wrote:

One of my friends has already played this game for 21 hours and is rank 24.
LOL.
LOL.
Finally got it working at about 2am this morning. Played through a bit of the campaign. It's very atmospheric and looks and feels epic, (even on my ancient hardware,) but it is so scripted you hardly feel like you're in control and so can't really get drawn in. It's weird given that the Battlefield series has generally prided itself on freedom and leaving it up to the player to find solutions. It seems to me so far to be a mix of quick-time events and turret/rail shooter sections - even when there is no real necessity. Buggy too but that's to be expected, it is a Battlefield game. Hope to get into the multiplayer soon as possible.

guess i cant buy the limited edition electronically any more ?
Why would you buy it digitally anyway. All you are doing is supporting the publisher in ripping you off by charging the same €50 a physical copy costs despite the lack of shipping, packing & actual medium.jsnipy wrote:

Your thoughts, insights, and musings on this matter intrigue me
Honestly i don't see the value in having the medium. But I agree with your point in not supporting the practice of charging the same thing.
Honestly I'd like to play now.
Honestly I'd like to play now.
If they passed the savings (or even just MOST of the savings) on shipping and medium on to the customer I'd have no problem with paying for a digital copy, but the current system is as much bullshit as the € = $ (sometimes even = £) scam Steam and other digital retailers keeps running...jsnipy wrote:

When the two are the exact same (e.g. Deus Ex HR which is just a box with a key-code and a disc you don't need in it that activates on steam) I'd rather buy the box and not support their scam-ish business strategy...
EDIT: I can even find it cheaper in mail-order retail than I can online

The Physical Warfare pack can no longer be pre-ordered.
So now you have to by it physically?
Sure srs. That was the question basically. Other than playing the beta for 20 min have not followed much else, so i did not realize that the whatever meditation with karkand could not purchased electronically. Did find it physical though.
It won't be released until a few months later as DLC.jsnipy wrote:

The idea was you pre-order and get given the DLC early. Pre-orders came with it in physical form, as pre-orders sometimes do.
But it was supposed to be DLC from the start.

Anyone knows what range will TV guided missile have? Or where to find it?
This game seriously needs VOIP.

While playing on the RU team I heard the radio say a phrase in Russian that translates literally to "alright Russian shit." What the fuck is that?
Wow I just realized you can pick what squad you wanna join. Didn't realize this playing with Nexus and a friend

"Some people still don't seem to know how to do this, so hey...what the hell. For those of you unaware:
1). Make sure you aren't in a squad.
2). Highlight the squad you want to join
3). Wait a second or two, and a little "Join" button will appear below the privacy settings. "
>wait a second or two
and that join button is in the worst position
