You have to remember what the scale has mutated into these days.. it's no longer a 1-10 scale...

6 = Game is unplayable due too technical issues and therefore can't be reviewed
7 = Bad
8 = Average
9 = Good
10 = Great

Well it sounds like fair review to me. BF3 single player is treading the same ground that CoD conquered a few years ago.

The review for MW3 hasn't even gone up yet, and i'd be surprised if they didn't knock it down for being too similar to previous titles.

That said, the MW3 campaign should always score higher, simply because it's followed the same characters through three titles.

To be honest, i'd buy MW3's campaign over BF3's campaign simply because I actually enjoy the story and like the characters involved.
