BF2 and BC2 had the same spawn time you dolt. It's 15 seconds.

Also the squad leader can spawn on any member, but members can only spawn on the leader. This makes Squad Leader less of a pain in the ass to play.

Why is there a Bad Company style respawn system? Did they take anything from BF2 other than maps?

The guns sound like BB guns, the respawn time is shorter than BF2 and BF2142, they have a bullet counter instead of a magazine counter, and the squad system is garbage. I could go on, but then I'd be nagging too much on about faults in an unfinished alpha.

Also who the fuck cares about having bullets and not magazines, it doesn't fucking change anything at all. You'll still be fucking tripping over ammo so what is the big deal at all?

You gotta be real pathetic to care about that shit.

I'd prefer a mag counter, with mags wasted when you reload...

but I honestly could not give 2 fucks if one or another was implemented

Semi-auto shotty + sprint plus = top of leaderboard.

Did anyone notice that vehicle kill points did not go into kit points?

Interesting though.  My entire team was spawning on me when I was on the IPV.  We'd make a dash to the MCOM's and a few would jump out to take the MCOM's.  Now, that was team-work.  Only in the early days of BF2 did people fill up the APC's.

Well, the respawn time felt a lot quicker in Bad Company 2. If I recall correctly, you could only had a few seconds to revive somebody. I prefer the Battlefield system where you die and look straight up with a time counter, and you can open or close the spawn/squad menu at will; as opposed to dying and having to stare at the battlefield for a limited revive time, then not be able to be revived once you enter the spawn screen.

I hope I'm wrong, but I don't recall BC2 having 15 second respawn/revive time.

lol

I don't mind short RS times

long RS times just make me feel like I'm wasting me time

I'd honestly prefer a limited tickets on spawnpoints system (which is more realistic) but w/e

It' not a major issue but it adds a tad more tactics to the game. Rather than just reloading at 20 rounds you had to be smart and make a decision on when to reload. It's just a small aspect but it isn't hard to implement.

BC2 servers had different respawn times, so he might not be wrong if he's been playing a quick respawn server.

I enjoyed that tactical option Jord. Having magazines makes you conserve ammo more. I think it's a lot more fun, it's adds depth to the game when you have to consider little things like this.

and the fact that If you're good at not getting killed and run out of bullets you'll have to start pistol-killing people / pick up a kit that might not suit you, but will be your only option to stay alive ...YES DRAMATIC !

What's all the griping about?  Most games I played, there were plenty of ammo and medpacks dropped all over the place.

It's just nostalgia fags pretending that reloading magazines actually did affect the gameplay.

Why?  What with BF3's hitreg, you only need a single mag of the assault defaults to take on an entire enemy squad.

better than you pretending you ever were good enough in any game to be able to form any kind of an intelligent opinion about it?

you probably never stayed alive long enough to chew through the 4 mags you were given in bf2 so you wouldn't know the difference mag reloads made.

the reasons have been posted. If you stop being a close minded anti populist spacker then you might be able to have a correct opinion which would be rare for you.

And the nostaligia is well grounded because bf2 is still the best battlefield to be made. And no, I don't want bf3 to be bf2 with better graphics.

So what if you ran out of ammo.  Plenty of dead bodies with dropped guns if you did run out of ammo.  Drop med-pack, jump, dive, pick-up, jump, kill again in a matter of seconds.  But heaven forbid if it wasn't an AK101/47 or G36E.

Not that I was a great player.  But I did run out of ammo a lot.
