yeah, well who might be interested in making people think there is no correlation between food and acne? Oh yeah, those big candy companies, dairy producers etc.Zimmer wrote:

I had terrible acne when I was younger, and no matter what, it didn't budge. Until I took roaccutane. I drink a lot of milk and eat a hell of a lot of cheese, and it had no effect.
There is hardly any correlation between food and acne. Get over yourself.
I tried almost everything, nothing made too much of a difference so I went on Accutane as well, for me it worked wonders. The expense and the monthly blood tests were - for me totally worth it and the acne has never ever come back.Hurricane2k9 wrote:
I used accutane. Worked wonders, but they noticed my cholesterol levels suddenly went much higher in the span of about a month and a half. So they took me off of it.
I had major acne on my shoulders / upper back. Never really had it on my face.

Showering 3 times a day isn't good for your skin. Stop it.GorillaKing798 wrote:
I've been on a bnch of different meds, creams, etc. none of it has had significant effect. Pisses me off because I'm a super clean person, 3 showers a day, always scrub my face and I still have it. Idk what to do I've tried everything under the sun : /
benzoyl peroxide is just an ingredient, its not a product.ghettoperson wrote:
This is supposed to get very good results on a lot of people, and you don't need to get antibiotics either.
The point being, most acne related products have this in it. SO yeah, it can be hard finding the right one that work for you.ghettoperson wrote:
Yes, so you buy a cream with it in it, and follow his instructions. Not exactly hard, is it?

Used to have severe acne.
My back is like if a guy would have shot me with salt in a shot gun.
Ooh bad time it was then, the small amount of confidence I had in me was taken out by this.
Girls would point me out at school looking at me...
Telling me I was an unclean person...
And what not...
The bitches!!!
shit
I wanted so much to suicide myself then.
Lemon juice over my back was the thing that was the most effective for me and sun.
Never heard of the toothpaste thing though.
Even today if I shave with a hand razor I get pimples then ingrown hair.
Accutane from Hoffman-Laroche!
We had to redesign the package to include even more warnings because a senator kid suicided himself after taking that medication!
So, up to a point it is serious.
And those gel caps are so sensitive to heat, before forming the blisters we had to refrigerate them.
