Stats Server Down?

i should have recieved a specialist sniper badge(14 kills as sniper,played in round well past the 4 mins i need and got art kills),deffo met the req kills/time etc but nothing....this got anything to do with the changes going on?
anyone else have similar probs?

I got a badge 30 minutes ago.
Please make it clear for all of us.
Would the stats I gained (badge, points, kills etc.) not count or we simply need to wait and the stats would completely be counted?
Third choise to answer, is: "There isn't a possible way to know the answer".
So what is the answer??

Everyone's stats and awards will be FINE.

The only thing that is broke, is Chuy's line of communication with the stats server. Once that's fixed, you'll see your stats and awards on your stat page. You won't lose a thing because of this.

Look, I know EA is professional and this kind of things (data loss) is just not even in count.
But still, we're all human you know.

EDIT: Hey, if it's Chuy's line of communication which is broken, then why we got the unlocks before time? Why my stats aren't updating on BFHQ? If I'm right with that, is there still a chance of data (stats) loss?

The queue will be what it is.. just depends on the amount of required updates. Any improvements there, will be seen when he gets the new server online. (i.e. stops playing BF2 on it! )

That I can't really anwser, other than to say give it a little time. If they do show up in BFHQ, then Chuy's site will display them when the feed is fixed.

finaly... an answer cause i was looking at my update time and it was something like -3558 hrs and i was like wtf but if its only a bu then im cool.

but were im lost is when are we supposed to get theses new weapons.. do u need a certain rank cause i havent gotten anything yet.

If you don't have SF u were supposed to get 1 new unlock today so that only one BF2 unlock will be missing to you. The unlocking is because of the lag.
You are supposed to receive the unlock when you get to the next rank, though the bug made it to be received without a reason.

The unlocks aren't a bug.. In EA's infinite wisdom decided to make the changes at the account server, before the patch was released. This is so they could test the patch in a real-world situation.

I tried for my vet explosives badge (having met the requirements) and got 40 kills with C4. I know that all I should have needed was 23 yet I didn't receive the badge, I think there is in fact something wrong with the account stat tracking (on EA's end).

yeah i was supposed to get some badges for the support but alas...nothing. i have been on 20061 for a few hours [cant remember how many] and every time i play a new game i get promoted but it goes back after i quit. odd! :s this site hasnt updated my stats since well friday and bfhq hasnt done a thing since this saturday morning and i have put a load mre hours in since then. hope all ends well...for all of us.

Well, that would make sense. I'm guessing that the two unlocks are to give players an opportunity to receive their second anti-tank and sniper weapons that are due out with the next patch. Those weapons would technically count as second SF unlocks like the SCAR-L, G36E, etc. And it seems as if each rank that provides unlocks is meant for use in unlocking both kits special weapons (i.e. get a rank, get 2 unlocks, get G36C and Scar-L).
