If anything happens to them, I fix it. That's one of the main reasons I like this stuff. If the units wouldn't have had some issues, I wouldn't have gotten my stuff for so cheap/free.

I don't fear anything getting stolen either, as the last break-in recorded on this island was in the early 90's.

Sucks for you. My power amp was $700 in 1980. That translates to roughly $2000 in today's money. I got it for free and 40€ in parts.
In 1980.

Guess what, I use LOGITECH speakers to listen to music and use a preset EQ.

What now Freezer. What now.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

Just got a new set of these awesome 2:1 Logitech speakers. The quality is amazing, I feel like a true audiophile now. My 100 bitrate music sounds sooooo much better.

how fucking stupid are you, I have logitech 5.1's I got them for less than $200. I dont even have to spread them around like the box says, just put them all on my desk.

They are so good I dont even need 100 bitrate. I use 96 bitrate tracks, my speakers are good enough it doesnt matter.

The cold air of Finland actually makes sound travel much further.

So you don't really need big speakers, Freezer.

Read and weep. It's an M-120A with upgraded power transistors.

Of course, it doesn't have the fancy case and balanced inputs.
yes the casing costs 7k
balanced>unbalanced
Balanced is better than unbalanced, no shit. The gain when dealing short cables is however barely measurable.

Say again why you think your amp comes close to the 9k Marantz one?

By looking at the specifications?

It was $3000 new in today's money, you know. If you also include the inflation of the audio market due to dropped sales ("the Ipod era"), they're not that horrendously far off price-wise either.
