I think the National Candidates Reply Day was May 1st, so all seniors should know. Just post where you are going, and if you want, what you are planning to study. If you come from another country with a messed up schooling system, college in the US is university to you (I think). If you know which university you are going to, you can post as well.
No idea. Maybe University of Queensland but I have no idea what to study.... leaning toward either business of some form or engineering, sponsored by the Australian Defence Force, getting $30k a year then off to the army.
At least, that's what I'd like to do.

Did Dartmouth give you any financial aid?
Only about $7,000 a year. Instead, they gave me like 5 options for loans.nukchebi0 wrote:

That isn't very much, although its not surprising. Their offer to me wasn't very good either.

Dunno if I'll end up doing six years, but anyway, I'll be getting £25k pr. year.
Student loans are ftw, I'm definately getting as much as I can.

What degree takes 6 years? Who takes a loan for 6 years on the presumption that they'll get a Masters and PhD?Finray wrote:

Also, you do know that you have to pay that shit back? The interest is going to be insane. You're not poor, especially on a Norwegian salary. Get your parents to pay for it, and pay them back later if you have to.

If I'm honest, I picked six years to back up my £150k claim I guess it'll most likely be a total of 5 years, 3+2.
@ghetto: Ya, I know it's a loan. But it's a safer loan than others, as you don't have to pay if you don't have work, so I might as well get what I can. It'll save me from other loans. At least that's what I've been advised to do. Though the advisers at my school are so full of shit I wouldn't be surprised if this is wrong.
And yes, I'll probably have to borrow some moolah from those parents you speak of.
gee i thought with your name you were going to like Tech or OUBevo wrote:
