Formula 1 2010

F1 2010 is an upcoming video game based on the motor racing series with the same name and the 2010 Formula One season. It will be released in 2010 on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Windows platforms; and will also be the first Formula One game in high-definition. The game was confirmed by Codemasters on April 23, 2009. The game engine is based on the Ego Engine that Codemasters used on both the Colin McRae: Dirt and Race Driver: GRID games.

Hope they have detailed setups like rFactor/f1 challenge 09-02 + suberb commentary and tire wear rates and components. Not to mention good collision damage as well.

I don't think there is going to be commentary - more from the driver's point of view, so you'll have your engineers screaming at you. If you read the IGN preview in the links above, you'll notice they talk about Rob Smedley considering to get involved with some voices

Read above There seems to be no F1 09 coming out next year on next gen, rather it is going to be F1 2010

You can already tell that the game is going down the whore Xbox American route and will be like GRID, rather than like Gran Turismo or at least like Forza.

I fucking hate Codemasters. HDR and Blur and cheap Arcade physics that appeal to 14 year olds is not what F1 fans want for an F1 game, it's what idiot 14 year olds want with an attention span of 2 minutes. The tagline from that Xbox magazine just sums it all up "could this be the game that makes F1 sexy again" - Again? WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY AGAIN? FUCK YOU, FUCK OFF YOU FUCKING YANKS.

God fucking damnit, fuck this shit. Fuck Sony for giving the license away to Codemasters of all the fucking companies

New Pictures and Trailer. I admit the handling in the Trailer isn't great, but I don't know what settings, aids and Arcade or Sim mode the driver is using. I hope the wheel is being used here too, it looks really weird.

Track looks great though:

inb4flames and just general bashing of the game. I'm going to play before I make a real opinion.
