The free one was it´s predecessor if I´m not mistaken. Dyson. Never played that one, but Eufloria is supposed to have much more content. Been looking at it for some time and when the deal came, I couldn´t resist.Miggle wrote:

You plant trees on asteroids (the circle thingies) which then produce seedlings with differing abilities depending on the asteroid, which you then use to conquer more ´roids. Rather simple really, but quite entertaining due to its style.Finray wrote:

Only annoyance is the lack of a saving possibility during "missions". Just today I spent 2 hours until only 2 ´roids were left to conquer when the game crashed.

I went and bought it and have really enjoyed it. About 1/4 of the way through the campaign and I'm pleased to say it's getting more difficult. At first I was just steamrolling everything but it's getting more challenging.
I really wish it had multiplayer though, but it doesn't look like that will happen any time soon.

I do love that game. Been plugging through the forums a bit and hte devs do not plan MP, saying that there are lots of problems when implemented later on instead of being planned from the start.
After the first chapter, it does get more difficult. You have to actually plan what seeds to take along. It´s still far away from the difficulty of a "real" RTS.
But I do enjoy it thoroughly. If they would just add a save option
This made me laugh earlier. Yes I know I know, it's hardly original, and it's not much of a screenshot, but I felt i may as well post it anyway. I was being a combat medic in TF2 while on defense, in a small game because it was in the morning (I think it was 4v4), and nobody on Blu could kill me, and we managed to defend the first point of Gold Rush against them. And then somebody muttered the classic line:

I lol'd. They mostly played as Scout and Demomen, but I was just tearing them up with the Blut. It's a suprisingly powerful weapon if you can predict the needles properly. The new hit sound helped a lot obviously. .
Also, what on earth? Lucien, remember that game yesterday where I was on the Red's balcony as a Heavy eating a Sandvich for ages, look at the kill messages . It definitely wasn't a modded server, we play there all the time.
Edit: Mystery solved. Looking at the bottom left I now see he was switched, pprobably the instant I killed him hence the wrong colour.
