There was no threat of filibuster against legislation barry wants by republicans.
No threat to block judicial nominations.
No press conference denouncing this radical socialist agenda.

Silence, or effective silence.

The only hope the citizens have is to insert a viable 3rd party into the mix.

What we face is one massive socialist behemoth, seizing power, consuming wealth and destroying hope. It calls itself a two party system.

Contrary to what you might assume, nationalization of GM is still better than continuously throwing money at them.

Corporatism is worse than socialism.

I would've preferred we let the market clear itself, but since that's not going to happen, nationalization is the only other real option.

Ross Perot was an independent.

The Republican party isn't dead yet. Give a few years, and few election cycles and the chaff that were labeled Republicans will be removed from the party until we're a lean-mean-conservative fighting machine like the 1994 Republican Congress.

Unfortunately it may be upwards of 12-16 years before that happens again...
