W1200 config-tipps?

Hi guys.

Just rediscovered this game in mp with a friend after not playing for half a year or so. Now the only headshot challenge I miss is the W1200 one. I can´t remember what is a good setup for it, cause it´s been so long and I rarley used it back then.

Double Tap is supposed to increase my chuck-chuck speed?

Extreme Cond or Dead Silence?

I would choose dead silence there - nicer to use to sneak up behind people to get those headshots.

With UAV jammer.

Yah, easiest way for Headshot challenges is to sneak up on snipers and HS them. The only trouble is with shotguns inability to let you live long enough to sneak anywhere. You're probably better off making several classes with the same gun so you can swap depending on Server population/map rotation. I recommend:

Sneak
Flash
Bandolier
UAV Jammer
Dead Silence

Assault
Stun
x3 Stun
Stopping Power
Steady Aim

Rush
Smoke
Bandolier
Stopping Power
Extreme Conditioning

If you really like the Grip, use that in place of Bandolier (Don't replace x3 Stun) and to guarantee a proper HS, using Red Dot may be better than stock sights.

If you really want to be a wanker about it, 3xstun, stun someone a couple of times = free headshot, they can't move.

Double Tap does let you pump faster, but you're still using a slower than Semi-Auto weapon - may as well do as much damage as you can with the first shot, because you may never get the second one off. (If you go for headshots, Power > Speed anyway)

Yeah, I figured. Had lots of moments yesterday where I fired the first shot, pumped, then got killed by the very guy I just tried to shoot. Thanks again!

uav jammer with the w1200 is better, stopping power not really needed as its so damn powerful in the first place.

juggernaut works well too. And, for the love of god, use the grip

Well besides using a handy W1200 config, which in my case was W1200 + Grip + Bandolier + Sleight of Hand + Dead Silence, you also need some knowledge of the map, know where to run and where they will be camping. So, learn the standard routes and avoid those, learn the camp spots and sneak up from behind. This works best on S&D servers. Most tards snipers and G3 fags are only watching one point so easy to sneak up on them. Make sure to get on a clayfree server though, or swap bandolier for bomb squad

So far, Grip + Anything + Dead Silence works pretty good. Made Expert I yesterday.

Smoke grenades turned out to be quite a good choice. I throw them and circle in through another route, cause everyone thinks someone is coming through the smoke. Got a lot of guys in the back that way, especially with dead silence.

Make sure to take a silencer on the shotgun so everybody doesn't find you once you shoot. Also, RPG+ 3XStun works great.

Acog is the way to go, for aiming on those long range shots.
And don't forget that you can also put it on the RPGs and Stuns you will be adding to your load-out now!
