Technical Drafting Pens

For inking drafting work, if you're really that concerned with the looks of your math homework.

They can be fun in a geek sort of way, fragile though, 0.35mm is about the min you can write with.
Rotrings FTW - if you enjoy pen maintenance.

Grease on the page, often from your own hand. I can't use ballpoints, at least the standard Bic type, for this reason.
I also have the problem that I write at such an angle the ball barely touches the paper - learned to write with a fountain pen.

Possibly, but I work from the back of a book forwards (and from right to left) because I'm left handed and I hate my hand sweating whilst I'm working on the next page and it smudging all of my work :p

Nah, I think it's just that the overall standard of out stationary is far superior to that of your whatever-it's-called-lame-country.
