That's merely your opinion. I don't like most music, and I'm more than happy listening to the music I have rather than forcing music I don't like. Of course I have more music in store, but I don't have it in the music player on my laptop. If you know where I can find more music that I like in decent quality, it'd be lovely.

And I have a flac avatar merely because it's a fucking awesome format compared to other lossless ones.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
