It just doesn't look perfect as a wallpaper, maybe its the pixilazation? Maybe to much color? Anybody with serious photoshop skills wanna make this into something more awesome?

set layer to soft light/overlay & adjust opacity

mess with contrast,

bam, wallpaper.

^Nice! You don't want to see my attempt. I basically desaturated it, and darkened the top so it looks more black, almost gray scale

Edit, this is weird, the Land Cruisers look WAY more pixilated now when I set it as my background then the original version I have saved to my computer. Then, I saved the one you made, set it as background and the whole image looks like a neon lit sign, maybe cause the PNG format?

5 mins work, just some blurring to draw focus, colour adjustment to make it a bit darker and boosted the contrast.

No no no! I don't get it? Every one of those are much more pixelated once I set it as background, but again, the original I have on my computer, and the one I made, DONT look as pixelated as those ya'll posted. Even the one I uploaded to imageshack is pixelated as well...I dun get it ???

Look directly at the trucks themselves, not the background

Your desktop is at 1920x1080 resolution.

It's trying to stretch the file, which makes it look like shit.

Wrong. Both images are teh same size, so both are being stretched to teh same resolution.

Basically, I'm stretching the original as well. But it doesn't look as pixelated. Did you view both images I posted? You see the difference don't ya?

I did view the images you posted.

The stretching factor seems to be the issue here.

the blur ebug had is more severe, so when it got stretched it exaggerated the pixels.

Actually I figured it out. If I set the image as my background via Firefox, it opens up with a little image of my monitor asking me if I wanna stretch, center, tile. After I set it on the stretch option, its pixelated.

BUT if I save the image first to my HDD, preview it with windows, right click and set it as background, it still stretches but its not as pixelated. So it's firefox that degrades the image I guess

Anyway, fixed the one above, the truck on the right has a hellalong white antenna or possible flag pole, it looked weird when I did teh lens blur so just erased it
