There's no counter to rounding a corner and getting promptly tubed. You just die. The only "counter" is carrying a noobtube yourself or an RPG so you both die simultaneously. Awesome, huh?

I have no problem with the tube itself, but people should be aware that it's not their main weapon. I would rather them fail to explode under 20 or so meters so they're not an "I WIN!" button for close quarters firefights. I have no problem with them being used from a distance.

right, see that's how you use a noobtube. smack some guy whoring a mounted MG or sitting in a window or a squad that's too close together or an MCOM from behind cover....

furthermore, just encourages more camping, whorish play... people too afraid to get involved... lessens the incentive to play in a cooperative squad, etc.

not mad it's low, but i recognize that it's an incentive and a motivation for many people to play medic / to stick by medics...

There's just as much a negative side to people being allowed to charge past the frontlines, get themselves killed doing something absolutely retarded, and being just fine because their 8 teammates behind them revived them out of it. BF2 already showed us what happens when you have too many medics reviving people who no longer care about dying

Oh, and does anyone know what the difference is between silver dog tags and the typical bronze? Knifed some fool and got silver tags. He was an officer, level 22, so I guess that might be it?

Also finished up my medic class. I was skeptical when I saw that the MG3 had a terrible damage rating and not-so-great accuracy, but the rate of fire was off the hook. Add a heavy barrel and holy shit. You do run out of ammo pretty quickly though M60 is still my favorite.
