lol, yeah. About that C4 thing, Garand in assault + Explosives upgrade gives similar results, pretty fun running around and blowing tanks up with c4 on the flag.

notreallyProtip: Never do that when FF is on, you'll TK the other dude trying to C4 that tank.

Thing about C4 and recon without a good squad is that it's hard to get your C4 back.

Thing about C4 and recon without a good squad is that it's hard to get your C4 back.

You don't need a scope with the VSS because the stock one is good so you can carry extra C4. I carry extra ammo instead because it burns through it quickly.

Just played a round of BC2. I always use the SCAR ACOGed with magnum bullets or the XM8 with the smoke launcher.

I've gotten amazing at taking people down quickly with well timed semi-auto shots to the upper torso / head. To the point I don't even need the GL, now I just have the smokes as cover and a CQB backup shotgun.

The SCAR is pretty amazing too ! It's got great stopping power compared to most SMGs (UMP aside).

And above your tomb, the stars will belong to us.

Anyone else notice how the classes are near-identical with those from 2142?

Only big change is swapping AMMO & HEALTH between Assault Rifles & LMGs...
(Which shouldn't have been done imho as assault becomes a noobtuber with unlimited ammo, and ammo boxes wouldn't change much for the LMGs as they already have a big amount of bullets from the get go...

Your thoughts, insights, and musings on this matter intrigue me

imo 2142 had the best class system. This is nothing like it. If they had the class trees just like 2142 this game would be damn near perfect.

Engineers should use the shotguns by default and let the SMG's be available for all kits (then we'd have a decent replacement for the spec-op class). Put the ammo boxes with the LMG's and give the medic class the assault rifles. I think that would solve a lot of my gripe with the classes.

I dunno why, but I HATE the SCAR.

I have stars on all engy weapons BUT the SCAR, and the stuff I recently unlocked (Uzi and PP2000).

I prefer the AKs-74u, brings me back to my AA2 SF Hospital days.
