One of my other favorite reads those was "The hitchhikers guide to the galaxy" (all the books mind you) Truly, truly a volume of human understanding of themselves and the universe

I haven't read too many books as of late, but I thoroughly enjoyed Jurassic Park as a kid. MUCH better than the movie.

The night angel trilogy by Brent Weeks. Not bad for his first novels.
I'm re-reading Watchmen now that I actually, y'know, understand what's going on.

and Bean was just so awesome, not to mention the whole war thing was a lot more interesting than ender's shit.
Larry Bond, aint bad, books are a little out dated, scenarios are a little far fetched at times, but still pretty damn good. (Hes the guy who co-wrote Red Storm Rising).
