Er, no not really.
7 shots, ridiculous size, insane kick. Good for video games where aim is perfect and you don't have to ever worry about being under pressure to reload and such "reality" things.
I'd say, if you want a "Service weapon" (military, police, security, etc) then a 92FS Beretta in .40 caliber.
If you are a private citizen, take you pick of anything small, concealable and 9mm.

@Chuy, no u, it's totally pimp.
I have only ever fired some random 9mm once, so based on my experiences with firearms, said random 9mm is the best kind of gun.

Any that would put a hole in your head, Finray.
TBH
I think my friend is going to buy my M9 from me, so I'm going to be getting some kind of 1911, hopefully this week.

Nice trigger. Is there a point to the holes (lightweight) or is it just there to look nice?
They're called speed holes, noob.Finray wrote:

This.
Having shot with Desert eagles (.357, .44 and .50AE versions) I concur. The most useless weapon in the world for anything other than showing off. The smaller calibres are good to shoot but the gun weighs a fucktonne. The .50's recoil makes it useless.chuyskywalker wrote:

As for the best gun I might have to say AK47. Now it is obviously not the best weapon in the world, and it is outdated, but it is still the most common weapon in the world because of its cheapness, reliability and decent "performance". No weapon can beat it in quantity.

I don't know what it's called but I know there's a SMG that fires .22's. The gun is supposed to cost like $600 and a box of 50 .22's costs $4 so it has the fun of a SMG with the ammo cost of a low end pistol.
There's plenty of smg's that fire .22. Most military assault rifles have had a .22 version for training too.FrankieSpankie3388 wrote:

It's called a .22 conversion kit, and you can get them for lots of different guns.FrankieSpankie3388 wrote:

I played cod5 but it was gayer than cod4 (the mp)
IIRC the STG44 really is the first assault rife in the world and the MG-42 is fastest firing portable machine gun ever made. Unless something new popped up.
Meh, the mp44 is too heavy and big for me.
I prefer the Mp40, looks simple and love the sound.

MG42 was also known to misfire and try to chamber two rounds at once making it a dangerous weapon to operate so the MG3 or improved version of MG42 is much better ...Ioan92 wrote:

With small firearms i agree with Chuy ...
Concerning MPs i would have to go for the MP5 because it's the gun i know the best and have hundreds of hours operating it and know it's capabilities and lack of such ...
What the best gun is depends on the user tbh ...
Wait behind the line ..............................................................
It really depends on the distance and whether or not the target is armored or not. And how big the target is.
The .50 Deagle is only really good at close range against bears or guys behind bullet proof glass. If you want to kill a man who is not behind bullet proof glass, you'd want a 9mm or 11.43mm.
