But if he's only trained in street sweeping it would be right.
Fuck Israel

No, arguing that ex-grunts have a better idea about strategy than anyone else is like arguing the guy who sweeps streets should be the authority on city planning.Dayarath wrote:
I'm using credible wrong? So you think your or vilham's opinion are more credible than those of people who've actually learned to USE the strategies and tactics in real life situations?
They, unlike any of us, actually have experience with how this all is conducted in real life. While they might not have been flag officers they DO have a rough / good idea of how exactly everything is supposed to work.me wrote:

Yeh France has the Charles DeGaulle iirc
Not that aircraft carriers would play any major role in a war with France.
You know who knows more about making these decisions than ex-grunts?dayarath wrote:

They spent months in a hostile environment USING these tactics and strategies.
They know how the military works, on a VERY different level compared to you and Vilham.
There is not one thing hard to understand about that.
your example is also very flawed. The military isn't remotely comparable with city planning and street sweepers.
Not sure, was a while ago when I heard that our recent decommissions made the Royal Navy smaller than the French. Might be different now.Bertster7 wrote:

Especially since the first Type 45 went into service today, which is probably the best destroyer out there.
Officers claim that aswell, if not in front of the camera - behind it. It's natural, and fun .Bertster7 wrote:

THE PEOPLE WHO MAKE THE DECISIONS (well, not actually them - the people who advise them on how to make the decisions).
Also, whilst you do present a very valid point about them being more familiar with the workings of the military, there is also more room for bias in their opinions. For example, I have noticed a tendancy for ex-military personnel to claim the branch of the military they were a member of is the most important.
