yes, almost everyone has as hobby of some form. however it's rather incongruous to characterize yourself as the asian charlie sheen, when you are in fact playing around with fantasy-geek card-games and fussing over rulesets. it's very not-alpha.AussieReaper wrote:

No, self built, but it's not a common build. I used what I had from boosters. I'm almost certain 90% of it is illegal in tournament play. I had 4 nut collectors that I think are worth 5$ a piece. That's about it though.
EDIT- it was legal when I played it (I was terrible though), but I think most Odyssey cards are no longer playable.

Seriously though, it's beyond rationalisation. I buy old beaters and fix them up. I enjoy it tremendously, my girlfriend enjoys it, and we end up with awesome rides as a result.
Honestly, I'd much rather buy a crapcan for $5000 and sink 10 grand into it to fix it and make it as I like it than spend 15 grand on a new car with zero issues. Besides, I've yet to find anything that's as fun to drive as the E30s.
