Lots of vinyls come with cool stuff. CD's mostly just come with, well, the CD.
Album fail.

meh, i will probably be more distracted by the helmet and e much likelier to have an accident. and is the bike culture here helmets have no place, i think that less than 1% of the bikers wear a helmet only the guys with their race bikes in their tight suitsglobefish23 wrote:

More for cases when you get hit by a car and your head would get crushed by the A-pillar or smashes through the windshield.
Or when you are sent flying and kiss the concrete.
Granted, without an integral helmet your face wouldn't look so good anyway.
go put a vinyl into your car stereo and listen to itunnamednewbie13 wrote:

No you wouldn't, don't be daft. There is no good reason not to wear a helmet. Having said that, I don't wear a helmet when riding on roads.menzo wrote:

People wear them in 35C+ weather. It's not an issue. You might not wear them because you don't like the look of them or whatever, but don't try to justify it with made up nonsense.Kampframmer wrote:

Nobody really needs to justify not wearing a helmet. Meh.ghettoperson wrote:

Not really since justifying implies people are making excuses for not wearing a helmet as opposed to giving valid reasons...ghettoperson wrote:
Hence why I said "You might not wear them because you don't like the look of them or whatever,". GG reading comprehension.

If I don't wear a helmet it's because they're uncomfortable and in the way. You feel much freer (word) on a bike without a helmet spoiling it.

As I understand it, if you're hit and land in such a way that you die, it'll happen with or without a helmet. However, a helmet can greatly reduced the chance of concussions or worse.Winston_Churchill wrote:
I did a project with an engineering firm a couple years ago who had previously done a study on helmets on bicycles. They discovered that in pretty much 99% of cases, wearing one of those basic bicycle helmets wont help you in the slightest for protecting against brain damage or neck injury. Their main protection is against scrapes when you hit the ground.
That said, I still wear one whenever I bike.
