Shit.. we are the most moderate among the bunch. The rest of the world is on either side of us.
Well, America is more conservative than most of the First World and more liberal than most of the Third World, but....

the question is...   wouldn't you rather be more like most of the First World than most of the Third World?
pshht.. u want conservative? I'll show you conservative..lol.  I want neither extreme .. buddy . There you go again with your absolute views.

Turq I really think you would be happier if you got a boat ticket.. maybe just a bus.
Not now...  My buddies and I are already taking over...  The electorate is the country's most precious resource.  We need to control as much of it as we can...

We have already begun destabilizing the local government...  Howard Dean = Dominic Green

He has accepted the savior as the one true descendant of god. All is forgiven.

The incumbents did exactly that. Hence the vigilance against the Republican Party. House. Senate, President is a bit much though. Your problem is you only have two viable choices.

the problem is that people think they only have two viable choices. they're too lazy or too conditioned to think outside of the rectangle that is the republican/democratic horseshit we work with now.

Because we know that throwing money at the system has worked wonders so far...
Is that what I said? I am confused now though.. you ridicule change and then you make sarcastic comments about doing the same thing?
Change always come with a price. Maybe he will cut spending instead of raising taxes. Lets hope.

That republican/democratic horseshit has a slipknot on power. Vote for a leftist third party and you give the Republicans a better chance. Vote for a right-wing third party and you give Democrats a better chance. All it takes is a bit of common sense to know that without an enormous grassroots movement (say, starting today), none of the third parties are going to attract much attention.

People would be more than willing to throw off red and blue if they were presented a viable ticket.

its happened before, back when Lincoln brought the republicans into power for the first time. it can happen now, if people stop thinking like this.

No...that's exactly not my point. People need to realize the problem is not one party, it is the system. The only logical way to prove that is for both parties to screw up in the same system.

Certainly. All it takes is enough motivation, and then you get:

No, I'm not.  I also am pro-choice.  I am not a creationist.  I am not an Evangalist.  I am also not rich, don't own a cooperation, or plot the downfall of the world to unite it under a 'one world government.'  But I am still a republican.
Then you're the most lite republican I've known.
You need to get out more then.
