So basically you're going to do more household chores than the rest of us? I'm jealous.

I remember when I was 16 and i told myself i was gonna save myself for marriage. No less than a year later was I banging a couple classmates. Shifty and andros just haven't really hit the final stages of puberty yet.
If the women don't find ya handsome. They should at least find ya handy.
Can I ask why? You don't strike me as being especially religious, is there another motivation for it?
I didn't want to have sex until I was in a relationship (or at least on my way into a relationship), but that's more due to what appealed to me rather than principles.
I suspect the non-religious no-sex-before-marriage croud are often driven by fear (whether they know it or not). A lot of people have similar principles with alcohol for the same reason..

my motivations for losing my virginity were typically teenage: i wanted to be one of the first in my year and i wanted to claim the hottest girl in the school. and i succeeded. and it's all been uphill from there. eat ya little communion-breaded heart out, shifty and co.

An interesting note Uzique. You mentioned we aren't mono-amorus (sp?), and in Bible times men were into the whole polygamy thing which God was totally ok with.
Do you catch my drift? xD

And above your tomb, the stars will belong to us.

it was about being the first in your class? hrmph i thought it'd be more sexually driven~ perhaps this is due to being 14 and not mature enough yet? ...Uzique wrote:

i had the hottest gf in the school on my arm for 6 months. i wanted to bone her. i'm just acknowledging that a lot of the time with teenage boys, the reason you want to 'be in a relationship' with a girl and play pretend-adults is so that you can quickly assume some alpha male, top-of-the-food-chain thing. of course it was mainly personally motivated. i'm just sayin' that it's the sort of thing a lot of teenage boys high-five over.

It's actually pretty good. I mean in moderation, the same as having a few beers.Uzique wrote:
why would you want to have sex on weed?
anything is good on weed, except public speaking

Quite a few of the guys I knew went through an angsty phase of "shit I haven't had sex yet" at around age 16 and decided that anything that would touch them would have to suffice..
The whole idea of thinking you have to have sex before x age (and the accompanying insecurity if you don't) is natural and I get why it happens and stuff, but it never affected me, really. I was never in a rush myself, and never had (or have) sex as a 'goal' in life, and I've always thought it's completely misunderstood when people do

At 16? That seems crazy to me. I know a number of people in my high school class were sexually active, but I'd pretty much realized I wasn't going to have my first time during those years. Though I don't believe I was very "raging hormones" during school anyway. Was more concerned with friendships and such than a physical relationship.Jenspm wrote:
