4. I've been sucked into the cancer that is America Online, so I hardly use MSN.
However, on AIM I've probably got anywhere between 70 and 100. I clean it out regularly and know nearly all of them in-person.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. A small amount, maybe....25-35. I used to have about, 60? Back when you used to add people you barely knew from school or "friends of a friend". Even then, I hardly use it. (oh and no chance I'll add internet people onto it)
I keep things small. I don't keep in touch with many people. Right now I saw I'm in touch with about 5 friends on a regular basis. It goes up and down. Sometime I keep in touch for long amounts of time with big groups, sometimes I'm on my own not bothering/not wanting to be in touch with anyone, sometimes I keep it small.
I don't need to be some superstar that everyone knows. Besides the more people you know the more problems you have and the more bullshit you have to deal with.

I dont delete people, because I often find that straight after I delete someone I havent spoken to in years, I find a need to speak to them, and they do no harm sitting on my contact list.
