Never added more hype, just though it looked epic. Note the fact that I kept it to ONE thread. I am quite sure there are more than a few LBP threads already... most of them by Serge boy.

Serge is going way overboard with this, I'm sure LBP will be fun, but not one of the best games ever...

I'm just saying it's ok to be impressed by a game before it comes out, even though I try to avoid it.

I think Serge has slipped into his massive defence mechanism and is blindly dismissing everything everyone who doesn't think LBP will be awesome and change the way games are made. If you take a step back and read your comments serge, look at the poll results and understand that it isn't really as awesome as you say it is(How you know I have no idea when it isn't out).

Defence mechanisms are only okay for patriotism.

Yeah I have to say Serge is the biggest source of hype I've seen for this game so far. Unlike MGS, which I saw commercials etc. for. So I doubt it will sell more than MGS.

300k in worldwide sales on release date.
100k the week after
50k week after

And another 500k over the holidays and next 6 -8 months and then the rest of the sales just come in slowly.

Casual John won't have a clue what LBP is, and will avoid it based on the box art alone. Only people 'in the know' will get it.

I thought it was like Mario on the N64 but without any objectives or storyline.

Then I thought it was like a map creator for any shooter but without any shooting or action.
