After overclocking my E6600 to 3.4ghz and my 8800GTX to 600/1000 mhz I got 12005 marks in 3dmark06

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. Wow the highest scored system on 3dmark06 only gets around 3fps on red valley.
