That would be the San Fransisco Chronicle.  Is that far enough from a 'right-wing rag' for you to consider reliable?

Does this post give any insights into the attitudes considered average in San Fransisco in regards to the military?

However many articles you post, it's hard to beat personal experience.

Except when it is personal experience that YOU disagree with.

I asked for articles or links that show I am wrong about SF, yet your boy disappeared I am sure claiming that he doesn't have time for this or we are too thick headed to listen. It couldn't be that he can actually PROVE the city of SF is not what we have shown it is through their own history.

lol. What on earth has this got to do with liberalism. If anything it's about unscrupulous capitalism: No money? No room.

Again, what has this got to do with liberalism? The story offers no explanation or background as to why he was refused entry. If an injured member of the defense forces of my country sought refuge from me for an evening I would gladly give it.

Lowing did.
I'm not bothered what Lowing did, I'm pointing out it's nothing to do with capitalism. If he didn't have money for a room then it wouldn't be an issue really would it?

A reaction from a US Veteran standing united with all members and veterans of the British Armed Forces: (E-mailed to: The Big Apple Woking, Crown Square, Woking, Surrey)

Your policy of discrimination, particularly of service members, is despicable. As the retired international general sales manager of International Video Network (an internationally known travel video company, with multiple BBC awards and which has owned DeLorme Travel Guide) and a US veteran, I condemn your policy of discrimination against servicemen of any country. Starting today, I will advise all of my contacts in international travel circles, to adopt a mirror policy toward all of your company locations. You can also forget about any of the 2,837,000 Americans traveling to the United Kingdom, ever booking your facilities again! You deserve bankruptcy.
Lol get in.

Well I guess my buddy from SF couldn't show SF and its actions in modern history as anything but an extreme liberal stronghold of anti-military attitude. Oh well. Moving on I guess.

Oh and Cam, I made the comment that liberal would probably praise this hotel for its anti-military attitude. I of course was brow beat with the typical liberal catch all argument......YOUR GENERALIZING. So I asked if I were, then show me where liberal SF would not praise the action of the hotel. So what do I get? EVERYTHING except evidence that SF is NOT the extreme liberal mecca of anti-military attitude.

Why would a liberal praise a hotel for an anti-military attitude? The military is the tool with which you defend your borders - it's indispensable.

did anyone actually read the press statement from the hotel company?

Soldiers from the local barracks were banned from the hotel because of causing problems previously. Clearly the receptionist made a massive mistake (should get fired tbh) by just assuming the soldier was from that barracks rather than asking if he was or she misunderstood the ban and thought it applied to all soldiers.

So a few articles written by a few people represent the attitude every last one of the 764,976 people living in San Francisco? This is not generalizing how?

See, Cam, that is what you get for thinking reasonably.  Your brother and I had a discussion on this.  There is a wolrd of difference between what you consider to be liberalism, and the beast we know here in the US as American Liberalism.  It is a much more rabid beast, and makes rather less sense than you do.

Obviously, ( since you will not deny SF its place of honor as one of the most extreme liberal cities in America) you feel that, out of 764,976 people if only 10 are liberal minded, then it is considered generalizing.

This "you're a racist"

       "you're generalizing"

Are the 2 biggest arguments liberals try and make. They do this for 1 reason, and that is because any legit argument they make can not hold up to scrutinizing. There fore, the above mentioned "arguments" are the only straws they have left to grasp, and they know this.

This is why my SF buddy disappeared, he could not defend the city with proof that it is NOT what it is labeled. He just tells me to "fuck off" and leaves.  I love when a light gets shinned on a liberal and watch them scatter.
