I use DAP (Download Accelerator Plus), works well enough for my needs. Almost always get 600kb/s when downloading and thats the max my connection can do.

Flash got will download each link individually if you wish. You can pause or resume downloads too.

Internet Download Manager may sound shit (I mean, you can tell they rushed the name of their product, eh?) but it's amazing. With normal, standard downloading, I get about 600KBPS. With IDM, I got all the way up t 900KBPS (Which bugs me, cos I don't see why it can't just go straight to 1MBPS and make things all even and whole).

And it makes downloading multiple links a breeze.
