I've been seeing a lot of threads where people just randomly show their specs, so this is the official thread for it.

Post here your PC specs and the settings you play BF2 on, as well as how well it plays set up that way.

If you've got pictures of your rig, post 'em!

Now with it's own section! http://forums.bf2s.com/viewtopic.php?id=7005

ASUS A8N SLi mobo
1024MB Corsair TwinX matched pair DDR running dual channel
Leadtek 256 MB GeForce 6800GT (PCI-E) TDH (don't ask me what TDH means, I don't remember)
2x 120GB Maxtor SATA HDDs (not sure what flavour of maxtor drive, only the 7200rpm type though)
17" Hyundai ImageQuest TFT monitor
Logitech Mx510 optical mouse

and bunch of other stuff... PSU, fans (some with blue lights), DVD drive, CD/RW, floppy drive, Zip drive, headset (plantronics UBS affair) and a fairly old cheiftec back tower case.

Built my last few rigs myself, although I rarely start from scratch because thats a waste of money. Each new rig cannibalises the last. The keyboard for example, along with the floppy drive and the CD/RW, are now about 7 years old. The case, DVD drive, Zip drive are all about 4-5 years old. The mobo, CPU, gfx and one of the HDDs are about 3 months old.

I play with everything on medium, although it can handle high. I found it doesn't look noticably different on high, and load times and that initial couple of seconds of stutter were longer with high settings, so I went back to medium.

Hey dude.. firstly, let me add:

Thermalright XP-90C + Vantec Stealth 92mm fan

Er it cost me in Australian dollars, so it's probably not relevant to you. It did cost a lot of cash, but I only like to upgrade once every 2 years if I can, rather than piece by piece. Everything is brand new except for the video card - $400AUD 2nd hand (about $650 new at the time).

I play on Medium/high graphics  at 1024 x 768 smoothly. whenever I get a better PSU(it's still the stock case psu) I'm gonna start tweaking my Proc and my Graphics card.. OC is the way to be then maybe I can get up to high graphics. but before I OC anything I'm gonna probably do something else with the cooling.. I mean everything is perfect. but I gotta cut bigger holes in the front for more airflow.. and I might add a top fan.. I don't know. and yeah I'm into modding cases. haven't done one yet.. but I'm still planning out what I'm gonna do. and I've seen many peopel and learned how to do many things. jsut never.. done it
