You talk like all those nukes are deliverable, all those submarines work for one, and that they wouldn't get sunk first for two. Either way, any of those countries have enough nukes to royally fuck the entire world, so it doesnt matter. Hell, Id be suprised if Russia could even find 60 or 70% of those nukes given a weeks time table.

The point is, until someone comes up with a way to make nukes obsolete, we are going to have to be content living under the idea that if some idiot takes some idiotic decision because of stupid information about some other idiot the wrong way, we will die. You cant say "Oops" when your talking about nukes.

LOL! Talking about troop numbers and nukes. Considering that after 340 nukes fall on a country, I doubt they are gonna have more then a few hundred people left period. Much less the ability to launch an invasion. There is no winner in a nuclear war. It doesnt even matter if your nuked, your gonna be fucked because of the nuclear winter, fallout, low crop yields, disease, etc.

Actually, if we count all Russian nukes (even the ones that went missing), Russia would have around 25,000 nukes.

But yeah, until that day, Russia will be able to do whatever they want without getting touched, as will the US, etc.

Nuclear missile numbers aren't the same as infantry numbers. I don't think you're willing to understand how much damage and for how long they do that damage for.

If any country got hit by 10 Nukes it would be fucked up.

As will everyone with nukes, even 1 is enough that people dont want to risk a war with you, at least a conventional one. This aint about arming the whole world with nukes though, then any idiot can push the button, instead of just a few.

It is possible to have a conventional war between two nuclear armed countries, just that as soon as one country can not win conventionally. The possibility for both countries to loose in a nuclear conflict comes on the table.

No, some is very technologically advanced and well trained, though the majority is ill trained, ill equipped conscripts. That doesnt mean its not formidable, a fight between the US and China, besides being brutal and possibly world ending, also would have no clear winner. But this isn't about China is it? PR is a troop mine for the US Army (they get a good number of soldiers here).

The US doesn't drop PR because its easier to spend money on aid for the poor here in exchange of soldiers.

10 missiles (isn't that the number with this) have virtually no effect towards Russia. I believe this is a step in the right direction though, steps need to be taken by all sides to nullify nuclear weapons.

I would think we get enough soldiers from our continental ghettoes and from Latin America in general that we don't need PR as a troop mine.  Besides, we could use it as an exchange for American citizenship if they no longer were a protectorate.  We do the same kind of thing with many Mexicans, for example.  They want the fast route to citizenship, so we should just shorten the process even further for those who are willing to join the military.  This could still include Puerto Ricans without us even having to pay so much in social programs to them.
