You demonstrate your lack of knowledge on the subject with that last statement. The first revolts against the English rulers were carried out by The United Irish Men who were Catholic and Protestant Irish men. The Republic is full of Protestant Irish republicans and I know quite a few Protestants who would prefer a united Ireland. The protestant versus Catholic thing doesn't exist. Its a nationalist and unionist thing. So the Yankees in the US civil war were backward, the ANC are backward, basically every country that has ever fought for its right to be self governed is backward?

Britain and USA have some balls condoning Russia. As they expand NATO right to Russia's border. NATO was formed to provide a viable military in Europe to use as leverage against Russia and to fight any future wars against it. Plus Britain and USA started a much more savage, preemptive illegal war against Iraqi for oil and money. Talk about Pot calling the kettle black.

and i'd rather live in fermanagh than tyrone
