[Pokemon Blue] Just started playing again

I started playing pokemon blue again yesterday, and I've played over 4 hours this morning.

I've never played any Pokemon games. Only had Super Mario Land for my GBC.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

I had pokemon red on my gameboy colour. I've lost the power pack though so I'm playing on my computer and I thought I'd get blue this time.

Don't knock Super Mario Land. It's fun and can be beaten in one sitting, making it an ideal portable game.

Plus the fireballs bounce around like pong.

Oh, and my GBC still works after all these years of baking in the sun and being dropped. Couldn't say the same thing for a PSP subjected to the same treatment. I'm so paranoid about mine that I keep it wrapped up in an old tube sock. The GBC just gets tossed into the back seat.
