So I was polishing my shoes getting ready for work this morning. I'm watching the morning news and I see this report about a creature that was discovered this morning in New York, off of some beach. No one knows where it was moved to, or by who. Some were saying it was a tortoise that had lost its shell. I dunno, but it dosen'y look like a turtle to me. The news anchor said it moght be a publicity stunt by the Cartoon Network. They have some new kids show about or called "Creatures". That sounds pretty plausible.

It has standard mammalian anatomy. Nothing looks strange, IMO, other than there is some fur missing(?) and bloating. So it's real. Not sure if part of the skull on the face has been altered or broken in some way.

Doesn't look like a beak to me.

Either a.) broken skull at that point/area.
Or, b.) face is/was buried partly in the sand.

Or some combo of a.) and b.) with a little extra-help from photoshop to make it look more beak-like.
