New York, followed by Boston, Miami and Philly.
Seriously. None of those cities can compare to NYC.

i've been to the city over 9000 times
I spent a month in new york when I was 8 and I didnt like it. I remember watching Termintaor 2 in a movie theater whose walls were so thin you heard the conversations of the people (along with the movie) from the screen next door.

I assume you're in your 20's now? It's changed so much...Giuliani cleaned up the city and Bloomberg's perfected his job.
Just ask cowami.
LA. Only large USA city I've been to.
I spent a few hours at JFK in 2005. Coming back from Iraq, I wanted to stretch my legs and breath American air for the first time. the fuckers at the airport actually made me take off my boots to get back inside. Ive got my weapon a few hundred meters in the airplane sitting at my seat and theyre making me (and every other soldier) go through security.Poseidon wrote:

i'll vote chicago, because there's still cool stuff there, but i would never want to live there...
i like where i live tbh, and no big city could equal it

Las Vegas.
Duh?
Duh?
Philadelphia cos I like the cheese.
Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known.
I'll go for NYC
once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.

I think you should have to have been to at least three of these to have an opinion.
My vote is San Francisco. Perfect weather, beautiful city, lots of things to do, easy to get a cab, interesting/peculiar people, right on the beach, relatively safe, great food, lots of diversity.

San Francisco.
Plenty of places to walk, Fisherman's Wharf, a large China Town, Little Italy and some interesting sights.
Second is Los Angeles, with Venice Beach, Santa Monica, Hollywood and the many fruit markets.

Interesting. I've actually had the exact opposite experience. Just about everyone I've met there has been pretty cool and I always have a great time in the city. I'm not saying you're wrong, but maybe there's something about you and me that makes them treat us differently.God Save the Queen wrote:

all the people Ive met from the bay area down here in LA are so full of the themselves with the fact that they are from there. In Oakland this, in SF that. Things are better blah blah blah. This is coming from people that I goto school with mostly, but also a bunch of cats Ive met in the army as well.
