Financially? Sure the government may have lost money, but who cares.... tax payers pay that. It's the defense contractors and military supply companies that have made tons because of 9/11.TrollmeaT wrote:
I don't buy it, the losses far outweighs the gains for our government or secret society. It just doesn't make as much sense as the whole osama thing. She had old footage that was more dramatic in back of her than the current most likely. Surely not enough to crack the government or someone else did it nut.
Try watching the Discovery channel more often. They were indeed close enough. In order to prevent temptation of the crew landing, the LEM was not given a full load of fuel. If they DID try to land, they would not have enough fuel to make it back to lunar orbit.HollisHurlbut wrote:
That depends on what you mean by "go to the Moon." We landed six times, with Apollo missions 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, and 17. If you count achieving lunar orbit as "going" there, then we can also count Apollo missions 8, 10, and 13. Apollo 8 was simply to achieve lunar orbit; Apollo 10 was to test everything in lunar orbit (I've often heard they could have actually landed the mission on the Moon, having already gotten below an altitude of 10 miles with the lunar module, but I've never been able to substantiate that claim), a "dress rehearsal" for 11; and we should all know by now the story of Apollo 13.Braddock wrote:

well that explains (lol) one of the six. got any fodder for the other five?AutralianChainsaw wrote:

Objectively speaking, I believe after 50-100 years (or whenever the spin doctors determine is enough time) when we can truly judge the effects of this administration it will be found that it drove this country into the ground. Funny enough, there will be nothing you can do about it.FEOS wrote:

I'm not denial (don't make the mistake that I'm a GWB fanboi, either)...I just prefer to deal with facts and objectivity.
It's refreshing...you should try it sometime.
Since I doubt you were even alive during the Carter years, I'll just guess that you're (that's the proper spelling, btw) writing from a position of ignorance/inexperience...and/or that you can't be bothered to research your claims before you make them. Congratulations.
That was speaking objectively? I thought speaking objectively would sound more like "In 50 - 100 years (or whenever the spin doctors determine is enough time), we may be able to truely judge the effects this administration has had on on economic and world events."Mason4Assassin444 wrote:

What is it about our planet that makes so many alien spacecraft crash on it? Are we the interstellar equivilant of a shallow reef or something? They are smart enough to get here, but can't figure out how to miss the spinning blue and green ball? And what around here is interesting enough for what must be a massive fleet of aliens to take their time with to observe and probe us?usmarine2 wrote:

Then why don't the just show us the videos that they took from around the Pentagon that would show a plane hitting it?Turquoise wrote:

For one thing, you don't need JFK's brain because the simple angle's of the wounds on his body (which, unless you have some other theory about who, if anyone (maybe Elvis), is buried in that casket, can prove where the shot was fired from when coupled with the design schematics of the car.CommieChipmunk wrote:

Why don't they explain why the WTCs were evacuated for the first time ever only a couple of weeks before 9/11?
Hell look at JFK, they 'lost' his brain, they've locked up most of the evidence (or what's left of it) until the public is ready to see it (I can't remember what date it's going to be released), they even wiped down, cleaned out and refurbished the limo in the months after his death -- that's one of the most important pieces of evidence and they cleaned it, and how do you lose a brain?
They sure as hell don't make it easy to believe their reports..
What videos would that be? Are you talking about the mythical 'security cameras' that people simply assume must be ringing the Pentagon, because it is what it is or they saw it in some movie? Or videos from people standing around, since the Pentagon is such a tourist attraction? The videos "they" took? Did you mean that someone purposely took a video for the express purpose of filming the crash? Because you did say "that would show a plane hitting it." Didn't they already release footage from a parking lot security camera that showed the plane coming in to hit?CommieChipmunk wrote:

This is something I have not heard of, though I admit that the conspiracy videos give me heartburn. When was this? What reason was given? Where is an (objective) site or article for referrence? A New York Times archive article would be preferred, from when this event took place. If the World Trade Center was evacuated, it would have made the newspaper somewhere; most likely not the first page, but somewhere.CommieChipmunk wrote:

The JFK conspiracy theories are much more believable because they are much simpler in design. Assassinating someone is a lot easier than coordinating 4 flights and multiple explosions in an elaborate ruse used to create a mock terror attack.CommieChipmunk wrote:

not to mention the social and political climate throughout that entire decadeTurquoise wrote:

I personally don't see the government as that clever, so believing the 9/11 conspiracy theories is very difficult for me.

The most coherent theory I've heard is that he pissed off some anti-Castro Cubans who helped coordinate the failed Bay of Pigs incident.Mek-Stizzle wrote:
