I'm just lazy. If you ask me nicely I could do it today, seeing as I'm shaved, showered, dressed and have to go outside anyhow. Those GTX260s won't come here myselfFreezer7Pro wrote:

The thing is that most cards take up two slots or more.FFLink13 wrote:

Or some 295's watercooled?
I'm sure money is no object for him.
I think a tour of your PC jungle would be interesting. I bet the room hums.max wrote:
I had actually looked at that board, but I cba to build a custom case to take that many GPUs, deal with the PCIe risers, find a PSU with enough juice, etc ... Quad GTX295 setups are already a pain to manage. The easiest and cheapest fah boxes are Skt 775 boards with 2 or 3 G92s. Not too expensive, can be built with normal off-the-shelf parts and still pull a respectable 20k ppd

Keeping track of the folds is pretty easy with fahmon / fahspy. I have it set up so that I can manage all PCs from my laptop though VNC or ssh. The 6.24beta is very stable for the CPU. Haven't had a single problem with it. When something does misbehave I just reboot the box.
My PC at my parent's currently has no HDD (thanks 680i for corrupting the disk). I'll visit my parents this weekend and will then finally install the 3 ASUS 8800GT 256MB I've been meaning to move there since ages. Originally they were in my K9A2. That board already got 3 9800GTs earlier. Picking up the fourth tomorrow. After that's done I'm not planning to do any more upgrades at least until GT300 or Westmere. I still have a broken 780G board here, maybe I'll RMA it at some point and put my X2 4800+ back to work or give it away or something. Dunno yet.
In the end I'll have 14 G92s, 6 GT200s, 4 quads and 5 dual cores = 46 "active processors". Maybe a 6th dualie if I take the X2 online. I'll take some pictures, record a little video or do something so you people can take a look at it.
I was thinking about doing a little competition and getting a GTX260 as a prize, but with all the whining and moaning from the general BF2S population I think I'll drop that project
