Update. Argh, I can actually see why this gets addicting I saw that Nvidia are going to release a GTX 295 or whatever, and I was thinking, nah thats overkill for my 22'' but the sheer EPICNESS of its folding ability may temp me over the edge.

Since i only have shitty stock cooling, what programs can i get that will monitor my CPU temp for me? Does CPU-Z do this?

Thanks, what temps should I worry about? What temps are acceptable at 100% load?

It's at 53 atm.

Edit: coretemp = , it displays the temp on my g15 along with some other infos

I oc'd it to 2.64 so now i can do it a little faster failed at OCing it

time to read freezers guide and do it properly instead of just fiddling around in the bios at 5am... lol

I bet I could get alot out of my 4870 but I'm a bit concerned because right now I am runnig on stock cooling idling around 49C and a load around 64C. I really don't want to burn it out by running it loaded for too long
