Tbh I never got the kits with lego, although i did get a sweet boat with a motor. Ended up making crazy ass boats with the plastic hull it had. They never floated though always tipped over

Had one of those huge under the bed kiddy boxes full of lego pieces, must of been a few thousand bits.

Lego sets seem to have had their prices increased, even the smaller sets seem like a lot of money. Plus some people say some Lego sets have become "juniorised" which means that there are a lot of big one piece bricks.

i credit legos as a big part of my mechanical aptitude.
i dont think i would be half as good with my hands if i hadnt been building lego cities for the majority of my childhood.
....of course, i played with GI Joes a lot as well.....man, i was really influenced when i was a kid lol

I used to have a Pirate ship that was really huge, 3 masts and full of cool stuff canons, treasure map, of course treasure, and pirates plus an Indian village to raid.

Took ages to build but was well worth it. Oh to be 6 again. lol

I used to play loads with my lego. I had shit loads. Never built the models though, always made my own stuff. Usually I just built huge navies. I <3 my UK styled aircraft carrier. Didn't have enough bricks to built those humongous US ones
