I'd like to watch some really good movies. Could you guys name a few that really stand out? I liked The Shawshank Redemption, It's a Wonderful Life, and Second Hand Lions as my top three.
Saw The Expendables 2 yesterday. Lots of manly guys shooting bad guys in the face. I approve.
once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.

What didn't you like about Dark Shadows? I haven't seen it.
the plot and quite a lot of scenes were simply ridiculousunnamednewbie13 wrote:

Split Second old Rutger Hauer film a fun cheesy 7/10
So are a lot of other Tim Burton movies. Still, the film got pretty mixed reviews from fans of the old show.cl4u53w1t2 wrote:

mars attacks and especially planet of the apes, i had to turn off
Expendables 2.
Ohh boy, how to rate this? As you would expect it's a terrible movie, but don't worry its even worse then your low expectations. It doesn't make any sense, has many and by that I mean nearly every scene has continuity errors. The acting is terrible, the characters are just bad, the plot is stupid, the script is terrible and the fighting is pretty rough. It does though have some fine philosophical moments which will just makes you laugh at how ridiculous they are.
I also recommend you see it, you wont be disappointed.

I shall see it.
I really enjoyed Expendables and have been looking forward to Expendables 2 ever since.
There were so many unanswered questions, why? how? what?
I can't wait to have them answered.

Mars Attacks is excellent!
Great cast and cameos, hilarious parody on alien movies.
That alien "nack nack naaack nack" talk always makes me giggle.
Yeah, Mars Attacks wasn't really meant to be taken seriously. But you've gotta be into non-serious films to enjoy it.globefish23 wrote:

I didn't care too much for the 2001 Planet of the Apes. Preferred the 2011.
Also, Nicholson's final speech.
Et 10/10
he rated Big Fish higher than Beetlejuice. disregard.unnamednewbie13 wrote:

just saw the premiere of Joss Whedon's Much Ado About Nothing at Toronto International Film Festival and it was fantastic. The entire theatre was laughing nearly the entire time, incredible cast, beautifully shot and just overall excellent. Will definitely see it again once its fully released
