Fast and furious 5 - 4/10

OMG talk about stupid. If you enjoyed the earlier ones there's no reason to not see this one, just expect more unbelievable bullshit, more fights, more hard body gay love and more arse. And tacked on the end in the most unbelievable, stupid, mind blowingly exaggerated car chase in the history of cinema which disregards all facets of physics.

Also stay till after the credits for some awesome plot twist.

Okey to watch, but very predictable. Seemed like a proper thriller at first but then it gets this retarded hollywood ending

Why do people consider 7 out of 10 average?

Clearly 5 is the average if the scale is from 1 to 10.

I use a basic HS system. 5.5 and up makes you pass the tests and below makes you fail. So i guess a 6 would be average to me because a 5 (and below) would suck.

But i guess if a movie would be 'not bad, not good' i'd porbably give it a 5 so it all comes down to same thing

Terminator - 9/10. Genre defining, awesome action movie.
Terminator 2: Judgment Day - 10/10. Probably one of my favorite movies of all time, and one of the best sequels of all time.
Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines - 6/10. Didn't have that Terminator feel. Kristanna Loken sucked as a Terminator.
Terminator: Salvation - 8/10. Not bad. I think they handled a Terminator sans Arnie pretty well with this one.
T1 - 7/10: Even by the day's standards, it seemed kind of average. Much higher score for technical stuff, though.
T2 - 10/10: Best. Cyborg movie. Ever.
T3 - 8/10: Yes, I thought it was better than T1. The breast inflation, I think, is what doomed Loken in critics' eyes, but I think it's unfair to condemn the movie based on that one scene. Good robot fights, good chase scenes, and a nice, fatalistic finale.
T4 - 9/10: Kinda had Arnie in it towards the end. I wish Christian Bale didn't have to mumble-growl all his lines. Wasn't much of a mystery who the 'good' terminator was (not that Terminator ever made it a mystery before), so the reveal was more for the benefit of the character than the audience. The film's been criticized with giving Skynet a face, thus ruining its mystique. It didn't bother me, since an AI the size of the internet should be capable of animating whatever face it wants on a giant screen. Can't help but wonder where all the laser guns went, though.

I'm getting annoyed at both humans and robots not getting fucking lasers, plasma weapons, and all that crap in Sci Fi movies, shows, and videogames. Take Halo for example, it's the 26th fucking century and we still use 7.62mm NATO rounds for assault rifles?

So become a director or video game designer. I mean you do realize that lasers aren't pew pew like in the GI Joe cartoons right? You're not going to see laser beams flying around. It's more like point, click, dude has his internal organs fried, done.

I remember reading that the [Arnies voice]Phased Plasma Rifle in the 40 Watt Range[Arnies Voice], were supposed to come along at a later date than when the movie is set. Or something.

Yes, I know how lasers are and it annoys me that they aren't common use weapons in the future along with plasma weaponry/rayguns and masers, sasers and whatever other sci fi junk is involved. Maybe I will become a video game designer. Hard to decide what I want to be in the future as there are so many things I'd like to do and they don't necessarily mix very well.

That's why it's Hollywood. There's all sorts of nerd terms for glowing bolts of stuff in movies. Everyone else just calls them lasers.
