As far as I have understood this, this tool just automates what you could have done manually before. It edits the values in the .con files.

That's where the problem comes in for me:
1) I tend to have a jumpy ping on joining a server.
2) I play a lot of EF and AF where only few servers exit. If I don't find a suitable EU one, I have to fall back to an US one, which immediately increases my ping by 100.

Those two factors combined with my inherent laziness have discouraged me in using this fixer.

But if you play on servers with the same ping exclusively, I think this should work fine.

Or you can go to Start, then Run, then type cmd and click ok.  Then write:

ping <Server I.P. Here> -n <How many times you want to ping the server>

It will then give you the lowest response in terms of ms, average response in ms, and highest response in terms of ms.  The more time you ping the server, the more accurate your information is.

btw

if anyone is trying to enter the ping, but discovers that the keyboard has stopped responding after hitting Ctrl+0
hit the Ctrl key once and try typing the ping again. should work.
