I think they call that poetic justice.

Talk about stereotypes!  You've been watching too many old movies.  Austin is one of the most gay-friendly cities in the country.

More guns AND more pickup trucks.
Yeah I know.  I'm only 3 hours away in CC, Tx.  Plus I've been to a gay wedding in Dallas...except it was a "commitment ceremony".  Same as a regular wedding IMO...I thought it would be, you know, more "gay".  The only real weird thing was that the lady pastor who married them was dancing with her fem-bot partner at the reception.

I wonder how heavy of a penalty if the gender was turned around? I think about 10years maybe 11.

Most likely true.  Especially if she was hot.

Why would three teenage boys even report being raped by a hot chick, why would it even be classified as rape or a crime

Because it is.  Most people with no game tend to find these types of things unexplainable.  But yeah, it's wrong.

Because rape is rape.  If you don't want to have sex with someone you don't have to and when you are forced that is wrong.  If the boys hadn't had a problem with it, this story would have never seen the light of day.  Obviously they did, therefore it is a crime.

I say you have no game because you would have a problem with being raped if you did.  Also, you be able to go get it when you pleased instead of hoping to be raped by a "hot chick".  In which case it wouldn't be rape anymore now would it?

What boys, what crime. I thought this was a hypothetical situation. If they did report it, then they're gay.

I never said I'd hope to get raped by a hot chick (according to you, because i'm desperate/virgin/have no game), I just said if It happened I probably wouldn't report it or classify myself as a rape victim

Its kind of stupid. Why give him such a ridiculously long sentence. When a sentence like 4060 years comes out, it makes the judicial system look childish.
Exactly.  They should have just said it was life in prison without the possibility of parole.
Because a life sentence is only a 20 year term. That would mean he is on the streets again at the age of 61. Also, the court must remain consistent with its sentencing. It must sentence him equally for each crime or else the defense may provide an appeal stating one crime outweighed the other in penalty thus making the crimes non equivilant. That could be grounds for a mistrial beleive it or not and would result in a re-trial. In lamans terms they covered their ass.

Anyway, I should become a judge and be the first to give someone a sentence of over 9,000 years.

Don't ask me, but a 'life' sentence is generally considered to be 20 years.  Most likely a holdover from British Common Law, but that is only a guess.

Anyone proven guilty via dna and sentenced to more years than they are expected to live should be executed.
I'd much rather know they're rotting in prison.

Yes I pay taxes.
Prisons should be run very different.

Either 1 guard per 100 prisoners - the better ones are allowed out to cook and wash clothes, any trouble and they're in their cell 24/7.

Or they can do hard miserable labour, like picking up broken glass in the desert 12 hrs a day. I'd pay for that.

are you 19 1/2?? you make it assumptive that you know a lot of knowledge about prison operations.    like when you say 1 guard for 100 prisoners.
they already have inmates that cook and clean. what are you debating again? Oh yeah, you would rather spend your tax money on child rapists, to keep them caged like the animals they are. call me an evil conservative hate monger that wants to put a bullet in his brain and end his miserable existence on this planet. he hasn't done  anything to contribute. but that's why there are people like me, to balance things out.

WEATHERFORD, Texas  —  A man was sentenced to more than 4,000 years in prison Wednesday for sexually assaulting three teenage girls over two years.

A day after finding James Kevin Pope guilty, jurors sentenced him to 40 life prison terms — one for each sex assault conviction — and 20 years for each of the three sexual performance of a child convictions.

At the request of prosecutors, state District Judge Graham Quisenberry ordered Pope to serve the sentences consecutively, adding up to 4,060 years. He will be eligible for parole in the year 3209, according to the Parker County District Attorney's Office.

"We believe it was a just result," prosecutor Robert DuBoise said, adding that he was "overwhelmed" with the judge's decision to stack the sentences.

Pope, 43, abused the girls for nearly two years. It came to authorities' attention earlier this year after Pope made several inappropriate comments to a friend, who notified Child Protective Services.

During the trial, the teens testified about the abuse, and their sexually explicit photographs were shown as evidence.

But Rick Alley, Pope's defense lawyer, told jurors in closing arguments that the victims were incapable of understanding what happened, the Weatherford Democrat reported in its Wednesday online edition.

"If it was as traumatic as they indicate, they would be able to give you (specific dates and times of the incidents). Simply because it's shocking doesn't make it true," Alley said.

During the sentencing phase of the trial, a U.S. Secret Service agent testified that while examining Pope's home computer, he found more than 200 images of child porn.

Later Wednesday, some jurors said the case was difficult because of the subject matter.

"We were careful not to make any mistakes in viewing and evaluating the evidence," said juror Dale Lewis.

It kind of makes you wonder why things like this happen, yet serial killers get much lesser sentences.  Sex > murder?

A little consistency in punishments would be nice.
