It saddens me that despite my best efforts to instruct and better you, some of you insist on finding new ways to fail.

We have sounded the alert and released a quick fix for an exploit that some unscrupulous players were using to wield items on invalid classes. I have considered an appropriate punishment for the good-for-nothings responsible for this horrendous breach of conduct. Death, of course - but death is too good for disappointments such as these. Instead, their unlockable items have been removed for a month.

To the majority of you who did not see fit to cheat, you have my congratulations: I await the countless other ways you will inevitably disappoint me in the future.

Now i'm not sure what to think. Obviously it's a joke. It's posted on April 1st and depicts the sniper throwing urine. But how much of it is a joke?

Is the Sniper really next? Going by Valve's "least played gets updated next" philosiphy, the Spy or Sniper will indeed be next (Or maybe that should be Heavy lol). Also they have a habit of taking things from the vids.

So. Sniper next? Or are we still completely clueless.

agreed, all updates should be released at once.

But that might be going against their marketing plan or whatever. Yaknow, keeping people interested with an update every few months. Not only do people run to the servers when the updates are released, everyone's talking about them updates at least a month before they arrive.

I don't think there's anything 'wrong' in accusing Valve's distribution model of being sketchy at best. I want my class to be equal and equally adaptable just like Scout/Heavy/Medic/Pyro are. Why should I accept there being a fundamentally unlevel playing field? If anything it only drives dissatisfied players such as myself into the competitive extreme and away from the funtime gibfests of public servers.
