How much does a person getting payed minimum wage make a month? I'm getting a job soon and was wondering. Google hasn't helped.
How many hours an month multiplied by how much you are making an hour. It isn't hard.

Over the summer I usually do 12 hours a day for 13 days straight then go take a day off for one day and do the same thing until the last two weeks of summer. I get $8 an hour off the books(i had this job since I was 12 and am 17 now) and for each being that I work continuously for more then 7 days my boss rounds it off to each days pay to $100 so that's about $1300 I take off with at the end of the 13 days.
($10/hr)(5 hours a day) x (5 days a week) x (4 weeks in a month) = $1000/month
£60.... 10 hours work (part time)

During Uni time, working casually at woolworths = $16/hr ~16hrs a week = ~$225 after tax. $900 A month.
Holidays, working 6 days a week = (5 days at pump company + 1 day at woolworths) $19*40hrs +$16*10hrs = ~$3100 after tax.

As a Uni student I only work a day a week - nine hours usually. That's about $92 a week, x 4, (assuming that I work that much - unlikely,) = $368 a month. That's a rough estimate.

I don't really work any fixed hours. I just work as it's required. One week I do nothing, the next I work 24/7 on something. I make 150 CHF (= 150$ =75£) per hour. The best pay I ever got was 45000 CHF; I worked 300 hours that month. Damn that was tiring.

lawyers get good pay. Even if they have half a year left until their exams. Once I have them my pay will be at least 6x that. I won't be able to work that much once I have the exams though. I'll have to do stupid record keeping and other useless administration that really cuts into your work time.

My pay sucks as i work for a small company unable to give significant pay rises, if i work for a bigger company doing the exact same job i could get 2 time or maybe 3 times as much as what im getting now. I will be moving in the near future.

I get around $3000 per month, around $13 per hour, 50 hours per week. I'm doing construction work, and $13 per hour is pretty high for a 17 year old
depends on the job im given, each diffrent job i get has a diffrent price on it thats shared between everyone that works on it. This month im on a medium sized one and im taking home £850 a week after tax, which is £3400 for this month.
Little over $1000 a month.
about $2000 for working a 20 hours a week.

I'm working 12/13 hours a week while at uni this semester at ~$17/h.
So 12x17x4 = $816.

Im making about 2500e (apprentice electrician) a month but am living away from home and after I pay for rent and food im coming out with nothing really, I actually miss compulsory overtime!
