Why are lots of crimes committed by blacks?

Somehow, when black people beat up white people (even if it's not apparent that it was "racially motivated") it is simply crime. Yet when a white person attacks a black person, people are quick to call it hate crime.

Go ahead and call me 'racist' or whatever, I really don't fucking care anymore. I know a lot of friendly, hard-working blacks. I know a lot of friendly, hard-working hispanics (namely my mother). I know a lot of friendly, hard-working whites. But when I see news like this (random beatings) it's usually perpetrated by a black person. Why is this? Not all blacks are like that, just like not all whites are saints (e.g. Ted Kascynski, Timothy Mcveigh, Ted Bundy). Likewise, Martin Luther King was black yet he was probably one of the most intelligent and caring minds of the 20th century.

What the hell is going on here? Oh, and for the people who cry for statistics:

But it's not even just black on white crime I'm talking about. Look at those statistics; blacks commit more murders than whites yet whites make up a far greater percentage of the population.

Blacks generally are the majority in the hoods and ghettos, and places that are high in poverty generally have a higher crime rate.

Like I understand the shit that happened 100 years ago when blacks were slaves. BUT GET FUCKING OVER IT.

At this point it feels as if we're becoming slaves to blacks, having to watch every word we say to them so we don;t get accused of being racist.

How about all the whites in poverty, and the hispanics in poverty?

rent paid for by welfare and such. there are lots of other races there also at that time. the places were shitholes and people basically sat around and did nothing. maybe it was just the part of town I drove through, but it seemed to epitomize what is wrong with giving welfare to people who truly do not need it. I am all for welfare and other programs, but not to people of able mind and body. get a fucking job.

Since welfare reform in the mid-1990s one of the requirements of welfare is work. People are required to find and keep work and can receive no more than 5 years of benefits.

Welfare as most people here are ranting against doesn't even exist anymore.

The discrepancy is minor for the race of the offender (~ 6% per the DoJ statistics).

What I found interesting is that under the offender column whites are more likely to be offenders in gang related murder cases.
