[TF2]Pyromancer, bugged?

I am attempting to get the acheivement "Pyromancer"(1mil fire damage)

I was at 21453 when i joined a server or something like that.

So i start to play pyro for about an hour or so, i come off to check my progress, and the number has not increased at all?

Yes, some achievements are bugged on some servers. Try and join another one..

I actually went on a server yesterday and I had the flaregun and the backburner and I didn't even have a single achievement. Was a kewl bug, got to try out the weapons (I was the only one who had the bug). Then I crashed and only had the backburner
