i hate it. boring presenters that have self-parodied themselves into empty husks. annoying 'hip-cool' music for the 40-something guys that watch it. incessant preening from clarkson, who is an insufferable bore/boor. tired format. over-written, over-staged, trying far too hard to be 'spontaneous' and 'funny'. who would really watch this show nowadays? it's not factual enough for real car-heads and it's painfully unfunny for the casual entertainment crowd. top gear has had its day. time to start spending its large slice of the bbc budget on something better.

Its borderline OK tbh.

Its really only such shit compared to the original. Taken as its own show, completely ignoring its namesake its just another show about cars entertaining enough to watch for free but not worth a ton. Not worth nothing, but not worth carving out time to keep up with it.

But if you happen upon it I wouldn't say it needs to be avoided. Just realize its no TGUK.
