The main reason I dislike FF is because ive been a web developer for a long time and all of a sudden comes firefox making half my websites not display properly, some of them are worse then others and the content is all over the place. No matter what you do its near impossible to get a site to look the same in both the browsers. And firefox never supports half the CSS I use.
and this is because Firefox is adhering to (most) standards of the W3C while as IE uses custom tags etc that were introduced by MS to win the war against Netscape.
If you are a serious web developer and check your html formatting through the
w3c validator it should look fine in Firefox. Besides: there is a reason why "all of a sudden" Firefox came along and snatched ~10% of IE's userbase (so far). There has been development since Firefox surfaced but before that nothing was moving along what so ever. It needed Firefox for Microsoft to realise that Tabbed Browsing was a smart thing.
In the end it's about competiton that drives the companies to make better products so the best thing for us comsumers is when there's a couple very good browsers around so everybody has to make their browser better be it opensource or not.
